Puno parade

This week is the ween Puno celebrates the arrival of Manu Copac, the first Inca who came out of the lake? Today's festivities were 4+ hours of dancing parade goodness.



Little people. Make me miss my niece and nephews, and my awesome Japanese students on sports days.





And also awkward teenagers, made me miss my junior high kids. I like trying to guess who will be the heartbreakers, late bloomers, funny nerds...




I still don't know why there were so few girls in the parade, and when they did show up it was in high heels and crazy short skirts. Feminism, where are you in Peru?
