After a 4 hours on a bus and 10 minutes in a taxi with an old man driver who:
A) read hostel as "hospital" when we showed him where we wanted to go
B) had no idea where the street was till another driver told him
C) passed by the hostel and then proceeded to drive in reverse for a block and a half instead of turning around
D) all of the above

We made it to Curitiba (pronounced Cur-i-chi-ba... Crazy Portuguese)




A beautiful old town,



Heavy on the Portuguese/European influence architecturally speaking



And in terms of good coffee. (espresso poured over mint ice cream... Delicious)
