This belongs in a museum...

Gold!

We went to the gold museum in Bogota to see the gold that used to be in the Lost City, an other sites in Colombia.


The way museums and lost cities seem to work in South America is:
1- grave robbers find lost cities and sell artifacts in big cities
2- people notice a sudden surge in artifact being sold
3- governments search for lost cities after grave robbers have done some damage.


Result: gold!! And until 2002 it was perfectly legal to sell stolen gold to anyone.


So shiny... I feel like a magpie.



But none for me to take home.
