The menu so far

Brazilians are known to be meat lovers, but so far we have been fairly successful in finding veggie fare.

Like this baked potato from a restaurant in the food court called "roasted potatoes" which only had baked potatoes, insides scraped out, mashed, and then put back in with various ingredients. This is buffalo mozzarella with sundried tomatoes and arugula.
Good, but I don't know if I need another of the same any time soon.

Corn flavoured gelato. Creamy, smooth, and just a hint of corn. Reminded me of a corn Creme brûlée I had in Guatemala. Recommended.

Lindsay had prepared a list of delicious things that we had to try while visiting. This is post beach (and burn) hence the dark and shady photo. She is sitting in front of:
- fresh sugar cane juice with lemon. Good but even better with ginger
-acai (a-sa-ee) the Brazilian super fruit. Usually served frozen and blended with other fruit and topped with granola, like a kind of sorbet. Reccomended.
-a coconut! Sliced open before your eyes and a straw put in it for your drinking ease. Like natural Gatorade but 100% better.
